Arenas for memorable experiences

Outdoor summer concerts at Simstadion Brottet, decisive moments at Halmstad Arena and intimate recitals at some of our bars. Halmstad’s arenas, large and small, offer a wide range of experiences.

Indeed, Halmstad is a city of experiences – with great seasonal variety. These are some of Halmstad’s largest events arenas.

Music, theatre and entertainment

Halmstads Teater opened as long ago as 1954. Recitals, plays, stand-up performances, shows and much more are arranged in this beautiful, functional venue. The high season is autumn, winter and spring. Broadly speaking, there is then something to experience every evening.

Kulturhuset Najaden is a centre for music, dance and culture in all its forms. Besides staging events, the centre also hosts municipal activities and provides a venue for adult educational associations, various societies and other culture-oriented bodies. Not surprisingly, culture bubbles from its every pore!

Sport and much more

Halmstad Arena is multifunctional. Sports, trade fairs, major shows and concerts all mingle here. The arena is the base for some 30 associations. These include Halmstad’s table tennis club, HK Drott, Halmstad Hammers Hockey, Hylte/Halmstad volleyball club, Laxen swimming club and Halmstad’s football and futsal club.

Örjans Vall is a football arena that is home to Halmstads BK and IS Halmia. Its roots go all the way back to 1922, but it has been modernised and extended over the years. Concerts are also held here.

In the wide outdoors

Simstadion Brottet is Halmstad’s largest outdoor lido. It is right next to the sea and the beach. Usually, it is full of happy bathers. However, a few times every summer, concerts and other events are staged here.

Solgården is part of Hotel Tylösand. In the wide outdoors, it offers electrifying after-beach parties and concerts with well-known artists. Every summer, Solgården, like the sand dunes on its doorstep, is full of people enjoying the sunsets and the glorious music.
